Coyotes range throughout North America, including New York. These resilient canines can thrive and reproduce in urban environments and adapt well to areas inhabited by humans. As suburban expansion continues, coyote sightings are becoming more common. The Queens Zoo’s coyotes were all rescued and rehabilitated after being orphaned in the wild.
